A Captured Heart
S & D are working to adopt a child from Uganda. For about a month, their faces and voices have haunted me as I recall speaking with them about their little girl. She is their little girl. I’ve seen the pictures and the love on their faces.
It’s hard to not smile as I think of these three coming together as family. Cannot help but utter a prayer that they all remember that God does not put people together arbitrarily. He knew before time that S, D & S would meet. He knew from long ago the story that would allow S to be available for adoption. And I believe He smiles every time He watches the almost blinding glow on the faces of the two He has chosen to love this little one.
I pray S is always aware that she has been chosen not only on paper but has been captured by the heart.
